A scramble up, and then down from Stickle Tarn

Today was one of those days where the light through the Langdales, on the descent from Stickle Tarn, was just perfect.

A fun scramble up Stickle Ghyll led us up to the tarn, and Amanda, as ever stripped down for a quick swim (or dip!)

The summer light is fading and it's nearly golden hour, in late September, where the sun casts low shadows. Some of my favorite times of year for photographing the mountains.
